1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the watch repair and servicing work offered by Kestrel Timeworks. "User" or "you" refers to any person using this website or engaging our services. "We", "us", or "our" refers to Kestrel Timeworks. "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions together with any service-specific arrangement made with you directly.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or requesting our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

3. Service Description

Kestrel Timeworks provides watch repair services including crown and stem replacement, accuracy calibration and regulation, and full movement overhaul with case refinishing. Services are carried out at our bench in Phuket, Thailand, and availability may vary depending on the watch model, parts required, and current workload.

4. User Responsibilities

When contacting us or arranging a repair, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your watch. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or to submit false or misleading enquiries.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and design elements, belongs to Kestrel Timeworks unless otherwise noted. You may view this content for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission.

6. Payment Terms

Prices for our services are listed in Thai Baht (฿) and are shared with you before work begins. Payment is due upon collection of your watch unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis if work has not yet commenced.

7. Service-Specific Terms

The scope of any repair, including the extent of case or bracelet refinishing, is discussed and agreed with you before work proceeds. Where a repair reveals a need beyond the originally agreed scope, we will contact you before continuing. Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may shift depending on parts availability.

8. Disclaimers

Watch repair involves working with mechanisms that may already carry pre-existing wear or damage. While we take care with every piece, we cannot guarantee a specific outcome for watches in poor prior condition, and we will always discuss any such concerns with you beforehand.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Kestrel Timeworks' liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold Kestrel Timeworks harmless from any claims arising from inaccurate information you provide or misuse of our website.

11. Termination

Either party may withdraw from an agreed repair before work begins. Once work has started, cancellation is handled on a case-by-case basis, accounting for any costs already incurred.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes will first be addressed through informal discussion between you and Kestrel Timeworks. If unresolved, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Phuket, Thailand, subject to applicable Thai consumer protection law.

13. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Kestrel Timeworks regarding our services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to do so later.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date, and continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
